From 05/06/2022 to 08/06/2022, GDBOP hosted a visit by with representatives of the Anti-Migrant Smuggling Directorate of Republic of Turkey. The purpose of the visit held was the exchange of experience and good practices regarding cross-border organised crime, in the context of illegal migration, the fight against migrant smuggling and trafficking in human beings. During the closing of the meeting, both sides noted that this is a new beginning of our traditionally excellent contacts, enabling the deepening and development of professional relations in the fight against migrant smuggling and trafficking in human beings. In addition, future joint actions for the direct exchange of information were also identified.
