From 01/06/2022 to 03/06/2022 in Austria, Vienna, workshops were held in order to exchange information in the field of countering cross-border organised crime.
The purpose of a working visit was to establish working contact and exchange of experience between GDBOP staff and the Austrian Federal Criminal Office staff working on the production and distribution of false currency, documents, and irregular migration.
The meetings were assessed as useful by both parties regarding the fact of establishing lasting contacts, as well as the possibility of future joint investigations concerning production and distribution of false currency and documents, irregular migration and trafficking in human beings.
