Within the framework of the project in the period 13-16 March 2023, Bulgarian cybercrime experts visited the Kingdom of Netherlands and held workshop, on the spot to share experience in countering cybercrime. A working meeting was held in the Europol building in the city of The Hague with the head of the European Center for Combating Cybercrime /EU3/ – Mr. Edvardas Sileris, and the heads of the teams in specific areas. The Bulgarian delegation, led by Commissioner Vladimir Dimitrov, visited the Dutch high-tech crime unit /NHTCU/ in the city of Driebergen, where they held a number of meetings with its head – Matthijs Van Amelsfoort, and the unit’s experts. Important topics related to the effective countermeasures against cybercrime, opportunities for cooperation and innovations in committing this type of crime were discussed. The Bulgarian group got acquainted with the Dutch experience, way of working, as well as the implementation of various forms of prevention.
